On October 21, Anthropic introduced Claude Duet, a separate app with a proactive agent for professionals and small business owners. It doesn’t wait to be asked: it watches your connected services and messages you when something needs attention.

How to try it
The waitlist is open to US Pro, Max and Ultra subscribers. Duet is included in those plans and shares their usage limits. There are iOS and Android apps and a version on claude.ai.
Limitations
Before sending a message, making a payment, signing a document or deleting anything, Duet shows the action and waits for approval. Some actions, such as trading securities or moving money between accounts, are off-limits even with approval. Anthropic warns that it can misread a thread or misjudge urgency, and that personal errands are weaker than work tasks. Background checks count toward your limits.
